Practice

My practice combines court work with advisory work. On the litigation side that means preparing pleadings and appearing in commercial and civil disputes, recovery and summary suits, arbitration-related proceedings, writ petitions before the High Court of Delhi, motor accident compensation claims, proceedings on dishonoured cheques, appeals before municipal authorities, and consumer complaints.

On the advisory side I work with early-stage companies, non-profit organisations and individuals on contracts and commercial documentation, trade mark and design registration, statutory compliance, and the legal groundwork for new ventures. A good deal of that work is preventive: the questions that reach me as advisory questions are frequently the same ones that, left unaddressed, arrive later as litigation.

I am associated with the Chambers of Ms. Aditi Mohan, Standing Counsel before the High Court of Delhi, while continuing to take independent litigation and advisory assignments.

Education

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonipat, with a CGPA of 9.29 out of 10.

Before practice

Prior to entering practice I interned with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas; Senior Advocate Akhil Sibal; Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan; and the Directorate of Prosecution, Government of NCT of Delhi. Between them, those internships gave me exposure to commercial disputes, arbitration, intellectual property, taxation and criminal litigation.
